These lean turkey meatballs are packed with flavor and served with a creamy cilantro dipping sauce. Perfect for a keto-friendly appetizer or main dish!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375F 190C
In a bowl, combine ground turkey, almond flour, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, pepper, and chopped cilantro
Mix until well combined
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and browned
While the meatballs are baking, prepare the cilantro dipping sauce
In a small bowl, mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, chopped green onions, chopped cilantro, salt, and pepper
Serve the baked turkey meatballs with the cilantro dipping sauce on the side
