Ingredients:
- 1 pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grilled chicken breast, diced
- 1 large tomato, thinly sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for brushing
Instructions:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat
Roll out the pizza dough into your desired shape and thickness
Brush one side of the dough with olive oil and place it on the grill, oiled side down
Close the lid and grill for 2-3 minutes or until it has grill marks and becomes crispy
Remove the dough from the grill and flip it over so that the grilled side is facing up
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the grilled side of the dough
Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce
Add the diced grilled chicken evenly over the cheese
Place the tomato slices on top of the chicken
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the tomatoes
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Return the pizza to the grill and cook with the lid closed for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is fully cooked
Remove the pizza from the grill, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and let it cool for a minute before slicing
