This Moroccan Spiced Hummus offers a delightful twist to the classic recipe, infusing it with warm and aromatic spices commonly found in Moroccan cuisine. It's creamy, flavorful, and perfect for dipping or spreading.
Ingredients:
- 1 can 15 oz chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 3 tablespoons tahini
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed for desired consistency
Instructions:
Put the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, garlic that has been minced, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice in a food processor
Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to make the mixture smooth
To get the right consistency, add water one tablespoon at a time if the hummus is too thick
